In our beginners jewellery making workshops you'll learn how to use basic tools and techniques to create your own silver jewellery. These techniques have been around for centuries and continue to be used within the traditional craft of Goldsmithing today. You'll be guided by an expert tutor, Lindsay — a jewellery designer and Goldsmith with over 10 years experience in the industry.
Craft
All the tools and materials are supplied within each workshop for you to use — just bring yourself! You'll be able to practise your skills first, either in copper or wax (depending upon the course selected) so you can build up confidence before creating your final piece in silver. This will then be polished up, ready for you to treasure and wear everyday.
Location
Currently working from two locations in County Durham, one within Durham City and the other in the quaint village of Sedgefield. Occasionally we have pop-ups within other locations across the North East.
